This dress has zero lining in the bra cups, the material throughout is extremely thin, and there is next to no stretch (which really surprised me considering the side ruching and description that specifies showing off your curves). As beautiful as this dress looks in the pictures, I would not wear it to a formal event. It might pass as a bathing suit cover-up, but that's unfortunately about it.
