We hope you love your PromGirl purchase, but if you are not 100% satisfied, we have options to get you in the perfect dress. Finding your look is a journey, and with over 12,000 styles, we’re here to make sure you get it exactly right. 👗
Please Note: To maintain our quality standards and keep our collection pristine, we do not issue refunds. All eligible returns are processed for Store Credit or Easy Direct Exchange.
Our Quality Standard
In traditional retail stores, a single dress may be tried on by dozens of customers before it’s ever purchased. At PromGirl, we take a different approach. We’re committed to protecting the integrity and condition of every gown through a careful, multi-step quality process.
Why Store Credit? Our policy is designed to help preserve the quality of the dresses we ship. By reducing excessive try-ons and handling, we help ensure that when you find “the one”, it arrives in beautiful condition — ready for your moment. ✨
Rigorous Inspection: Every returned dress undergoes a detailed, multi-point inspection. We carefully review seams, zippers, embellishments, and overall condition to maintain our high standards and keep our inventory in exceptional shape. 
Dream Dress Credit: If you choose store credit, your balance never expires. That means you have the flexibility to shop our entire collection whenever you’re ready to find your next look. 
Easy Exchanges
Need a different size, color, or style? No worries, we’ve made exchanges simple.
Direct Exchanges: Select "Exchange" in our Return Portal to start your swap. Once your return is scanned by the carrier and shows movement in our system, we’ll email you a link to finalize your new selection.
How it works: Your original dress value is applied directly to the new choice. If your new item costs less, you'll receive the remaining balance as store credit.
Note: Exchange items are not placed on hold, so we recommend you complete your order through the email link quickly to reserve your dress. You can choose an upgraded shipping method at this time.
Policy Guidelines
No Refunds: We do not issue refunds to the original form of payment. All returns are issued as Store Credit via an e-gift card.
Arrival Notice: If you receive an incorrect item or something that isn’t in perfect condition, please contact us at support@promgirl.com within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist you. 
10-Day Window: A Return Authorization (RA) must be requested and your package shipped back within 10 days of delivery. Returns sent without an RA or outside this timeframe will not be accepted. ⏳
Pristine Condition: Items must be unworn with original tags attached. They must be free of makeup, odors, pet hair, or alterations to pass our quality inspection. 🏷️
Final Sale: Accessories (jewelry, handbags, etc.) and items marked "Final Sale" are yours to keep. Due to the heavy discounts on these items, they are not eligible for return or exchange. 🛍️
Refused Packages: Any package that is refused or undeliverable for any reason does not constitute a valid return. Customers are responsible for all fees related to having the package re-shipped.
Return/Replace Items
Returns and exchanges require a valid Return Authorization to be created using the link below. A return must be requested and the package shipped within 10 days of receipt of the item. Packages outside 10 days will be denied and/or refused.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
- Special Occasion dresses are delicate and require extra caution when handling. Our items are carefully inspected before they are shipped to you. If for any reason you receive an incorrect item or an item that is less than perfect, you must let us know within 48 hours of receipt of the package by emailing Support@promgirl.com.
- All items should be returned in the same condition as when you received them. Items returned without tags, appear to have been worn, washed, altered, stained, have an odor, have pet hair or appear to have been tampered with in any way, may be subject to the return being rejected and the item returned to the customer at their expense.
- In Stock & Pre-Order Items: In stock and pre-order items may be returned for a store credit less applicable fees or an exchange, unless otherwise noted. We do not issue refunds.
- Final Sale: All items marked final sale cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Accessories: Accessories (ie: jewelry, hand bags, etc) are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Shipping Fees: Shipping fees are non-refundable.
A Return Authorization must be requested and the package shipped within 10 days of receipt of the item. Packages outside 10 days will be denied and/or refused.
If free returns coverage is purchased at checkout then return shipping will be covered. Otherwise, customers are charged a handling fee per return created. The handling fee is $8.95. A prepaid shipping label* is included in this fee and will be sent automatically via email once the return is created.
*Continental US and Canada only. All other International customers are responsible to pay any and all fees when shipping back an item (Duties, taxes, brokerage fees, etc.). International customers must email support@promgirl.com to request a Return Authorization.
Once we receive your returned item and it passes inspection, you will receive an email within ten business days with your store credit in the form of an e-gift card.
If you select an exchange item when creating your return, you will receive an email once the returning item shows movement from the carrier in our system. Exchange orders are not processed automatically when you create your return. You must complete your exchange order through the link in the email. You may also choose an upgraded shipping method at this time, if needed. Exchange items are not put on hold during this process. Once you complete the exchange order, we will begin to process the new item.
Any package that is refused or undeliverable for any reason does not constitute a valid return. Customers are responsible for paying any and all fees related to having the package re-shipped if it is returned to us by the carrier.

Step 2: Place the product in the original polybag or box it came in. 📦
Step 3: Print the shipping label sent via email or use the QR code (if applicable). If you didn't purchase "Free Returns" coverage, an $8.95 handling fee applies (Continental US/Canada only). ✉️
Step 4: Once your return passes inspection, we will issue your Store Credit as an e-gift card within 10 business days. 💌
