Bust
Measure over the fullest part of your bust.
Waist
Measure around the smallest part of your waist, about 1-2 inches
above your belly button.
Hips
Measure the fullest part of your hips.
Tip: Have someone help you measure yourself for more accurate
results. Wear the same shoes and undergarments that you will be
wearing to your event.
Bought the Amethyst color in a size 10. The colors and glitter are the same as the picture, and absolutely beautiful! A lovely black fabric with purple sparkles that don’t shed very much. I’d say it’s closer to a V-neck or Sweetheart neck than a cowel, but looks pretty nonetheless.
The dress is very long, and I had to get the skirt taken up about 1 inch. (with shoes, I am 5 ft 9 in.) The bust of the dress also veers on the larger side. This can be adjusted by lacing the dress very tightly, but not completely fixed, as there are sewn-in cups.
Overall, a wonderful dress that’s picture-accurate, but I needed some tailoring done after it arrived.
