Measure over the fullest part of your bust.
Waist

Went by the size chart and my dress fit as expected. I will need alterations on the bust, but I expected that since my chest is a little small for my body size. I bought a 3X when I’m usually a 2X size 16/18 at 5’8” so it would fit better. My dress did have a tiny stain on the front when I received it which annoyed me, but I was able to spot clean it so I’m not upset anymore. My dress is beautiful and it seems well made. Glad I bought it for my 30th birthday event a month in advance. It did arrive quickly and I gave myself enough time to get alterations done. Not perfect, but overall happy. I do not regret my purchase and I was aware of their strict return policy when I purchased. This purchase was a winner and I’m glad I didn’t have to return it. I feel like I will look stunning in it :)
