I had a week until my daughter had her prom. Theme was enchanted forest. Her and her bf chose dark green as their color. This was definitely a beautiful dress. I was happy they had it in her sz. She is a US size 14 and about a X-Large top. I got her size 18 according to the measurements this site provided and it was a perfect fit.
I got express shipping and contacted the company to make sure the dress was in stock so shipping can be prompt. Customer service emailed me within hours letting me know if the dress is in stock it will take about 1-2 business days for processing then another 1-2 days for shipping. Another email from another rep explained the following day they will ship it out. Exactly as stated, the following day after purchased a shipping label was already created and it literally took a total of 3 days for me to get the dress. Worth $45 express shipping considering prom was right around the corner.
Perfect timing for me to get it altered shorter to fit her 5’1 frame. The tailor lady recommended the extra cut material can be turned into a shawl in case her top was too revealing for the school policy. Perfect amount of material cut off for a shawl.
Only downfall about this beautiful dress was the gap in between the top was so wide apart that I was worried at times her chest was going to fall out the dress. You can’t tell on the model that the breast area would be so wide apart. However, after the tailor lady made the straps shorter it helped kept her chest in a bit. My daughter is top heavy too, so I can’t fully blame the style of the dress. If you’re top heavy just make sure you have nipple covers. FYI she didn’t need a strapless bra. The corset helped lift everything.
