I would say this dress is true to size. I recently lost 40 pounds and, unfortunately, waited to order my dress until it was closer to my event. There were no reviews on sizing, so I followed the size chart and sized up because I was "in between" a medium and large. I figured it would be better to be bigger than smaller. I was absolutely wrong. The dress was huge on me, so I had to pay $100 to have it taken in because I didn't have enough time to exchange it through Prom Girl. The resizing was fine, but the cups were HUGE. Like, awkwardly huge. I bought fake ones to stuff it with... they were still awkwardly huge. Lesson learned for me to just order my normal size.
It was also a GLITTER BOMB, and not necessarily in a cute way. Since the sequins and glitter are black, I was picking black specs off of myself all night. I found glitter everywhere... like, everywhere.
Other than that, the dress photographed lovely and I got lots of compliments.
