Lovely dress - but the colors are washed out
The dress it self is exactly as shown on the picture with exception of the colors. The flowers on the picture is more saturated and defined while the actual dress was very much light mauve/pink and washed out. So flowers looked printed on and flat vs. the depth depicted on the website. My daughter wears size 12 but bought 16 after we had a local fitting lady say you need to size up for the prom dresses by factor of 4sizes up. The manufacturer size and prom girls size chart is not the same! We erred on the larger size to tailor down. My daughter barely fit into the size 16 dress! She has very large upper body(she is a waterpolo player).
When she first tried it on, the dress itself was pretty enough that we kept it rather than go back and forth with trying on another style. (Read their return policy. It is a credit not a refund) So what I did instead, I am an artist, bought a fabric paint to paint the flowers to the exact color flattering to my daughter's fall seasonal coloring. More of Rose colors than pink. Now the dress is stunning! the little dusty rose flower petals, some fell off, and the center was not really finished. So I glued on very small pearls in the center and honestly, the dress is more like a $2000+ dress than what I got originally for ($400). So if you are brave enough and have time enough to tweak the dress like I did, you maybe disappointed if you think you are getting the dress pictured on the website. I hope this helps with others making decisions for their dream prom dresses!
